I have been working with digital media since as early as I can remember. I would edit videos in Movie Maker as a young child before studying Adobe Suite in secondary school. As an adult I felt compelled to expand my skill-set and pursued my studies of digital media to Lansing Community College and Specs Howard School of Broadcasting. Following the completion of those programs I went on to Oakland University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
I have been contracted for various freelance work ranging from photographing and designing a lookbook for a street fashion brand collection release, to filming and editing interviews for contractor’s union promotional pieces. I have extensive experience in music video editing, and have worked with groups across the country on projects for their various releases. Since 2022 I have operated as one half of Toad Media, editing videos for various musical artists.
As a person, my only goal is to seek serenity with my environment. Working on projects helps me stay centered and focused on something, and can allow me to direct my current knowledge efficiently while simultaneously exposing new information that helps me develop. The combination of my studies in digital media and Anthropology have allowed me to see outside of my own perspective and examine the world with discerning eye. I believe there is a story in all context, and it just needs to be excavated and presented correctly in order to move emotions within.
